House of BET: Atlanta Super Bowl Weekend
Project type
Video
To kick off its Spring 2019 programming slate, BET hosted a high-impact, three-day immersive experience during Super Bowl weekend at Atlanta’s North Event Center. Designed to celebrate Black culture, entertainment, and community, the activation drew more than 2,000 attendees and generated over 3.6 million impressions across platforms.
Guests stepped into the world of American Soul through a 1970s-inspired installation, complete with a retro dance floor and giant disco ball. The Museum of Meme, created to promote the BET Social Awards, offered social-media-ready exhibits inspired by the internet’s most viral moments of the year.
The weekend also featured exclusive screenings and live panel discussions for upcoming BET originals, including American Soul, What Men Want, and Boomerang — the TV revival of the iconic film. Capping off the event were live performances by Grammy-winning artist The-Dream and hip-hop producer Zaytoven.
This multi-platform experience blended culture, content, and community in a way that brought BET’s brand to life — creating buzz, deepening audience connection, and setting the stage for its new slate of shows.
